Steve, Kim and Jouzlynn arrive

After six days of cross county driving they arrived on Sat. the 21st. Weary, but no worse for the wear. Everyone was glad to get them here altho' mom (grandma) may still be a little confused as to who is who (and why and what for).
Jouzy and her first snowball to throw at grandpa. We don't have much snow -- and what we do have is mostly icy, but she still loves to go out and climb on it.
The family gathering on Sun. as Marc, Sara and fam came to help unload the trailer and get Kim and Jouz set up in the basement.
Picture puzzle time. Grandma was not much help on this one. We've all had colds and sickness since we got home from the cruise and we've just been passing it around. Mom (grandma) has a bad cough now -- she's not feeling too good.
Thought I'd throw this in. Mister Tom was strutting his stuff for all the ladies. This is the first time (almost two years) that we've actually seen a tom in all his fluffed-up glory. Immediately after this he managed to corral himself a couple of women-in-waiting so we may have some little ones running around soon. Sure brings up images of Thanksgiving doesn't it????

Yhoo -- We Cruise!!!

Well, we finally got our time. Mom flew to spend 10 days in San Diego with Gary and Arn and I cruised to the Mexican Riviera. We had a blast. Weather could have been warmer, but whose got control over that? Here's the ship anchored in the bay of Cabo San Lucas.
Here's the "smiling-relaxed-waited on-enjoying every minute" couple coming into port at Puerto Vallarta.
Don't tell anyone -- but that's Arn in a Teuqila drinking contest. We toured a family owned Tequila factory and sampled much goooood tequila.
After downing his shot he had to do a Mexican yell to impress the audience. He was competing against two other guys -- he lost -- but he came in second.
No -- this was not his second place prise!! But he had a great time dancing with the beauties.
Yes, here he is again -- dancing with the Mardi Gras dancers in Mazatlan. And no, I never did have any control, but we sure were having a good time.
Here we are aboard our mini-sub (yellow submarine) in the bay of Cabo San Lucas with our ship in the background. The water was beautiful and the sea-life was extraodinary.
It all ended too soon and the airplane broke before we could get out of LAX and had a disaster getting home and bags lost for a day-and-a-half. But in the end it was wonderful and we can't wait to do it all over again.

For Doris

These pics are for our good friend in Laurel Hill, Doris Smith. Doris use to babysit Skeeter and she sends Skeets money for a new toy every holiday. This is the latest Valentine's Toy -- Princess.
Alas, Princess is no more as Skeets decided to chew her to pieces-and-fluff all over the house. But thx, anyway Aunt Doris!!!
