Sweet Baby

Sleepy baby. Here Aiden is 7 days old. I spent the night with them to help Kim when Steve was away in Idaho. It was great to be there for two days and one night.

Here his big cousin Bryson is holding him at his 17th birthday party at Marc and Sara's. Aiden is 10 days old.

Aunt Sara got priority cuz grandma gets to be with him more. Aunty loves sweet baby.
He got passed around a lot that day. Here's uncle Marc with Aiden saying "who the heck are you????"
I'm a happy baby now that I know my uncle better.
Grandma has her mouth open -- as usual. But my handsome little man doesn't care as long as he's being cuddled.
Grandpa got in his time too. Aiden appears to be partial to men -- he already knows they will not let him cry and pick him up immediately.
Don't tell anyone -- but here's my first suck of birthday ice cream. Forget that breast milk -- this is toooo sweet. Yummm, yummmm.
I'm ready to go home -- but WHAT? Who's this? Oh ya, just cousin Bry again.

Bryson's 17th

On Sat. Mar 27th we celebrated Bryson's 17th birthday at Marc and Sara's new house. It was a great day.
The birthday boy cuts the cake so we can eat again. We already had pizza and this was just great to really fill us up.
Bryson opens cards. Who can buy a gift for a teen??? We all gave him money and we didn't hear any objections.
Jouzie picked out her favorite card to give to Bryson. It was the hit of the party. Sponge Bob --how cute???
Here's the group -- except me, of course. Dad has Aiden (10 days old). Marc, Sara and Kim behind. Rylee and Jouzie in front, with Bryson and Cody behind. Great group.
We stopped the kids chowing down their cake and ice cream to get another pic.

Soccer 2010

Jouzie is getting ready for the spring season of soccer.
This was first day of practice on Thur. Mar. 25th. Gooooooo Jouzie.

Grandparents Pride

Grandpa Arnie. Aiden is 10 hours old.
Great-Grandma Nita loves babies.
Aunt Sara thinks he's adorable.
Uncle Marc with the "best" baby.
Grandma Diane on Thurs. Aiden is one day old now.
Daddy's little bundle of joy. Steve helped today by changing diapers and dressing the little man. Too bad he can't feed him cuz mom is nursing.
Steve helped Mom get a shower and now she feels like a new woman. Poor grandma had to hold Aiden the whole time they were in the bathroom. It was a tough job -- but I loved it.

Aiden Has Arrived

Aiden Lee Freelander arrived at 8:01am Wed. Mar. 17, 2010. He weighed 10lbs. 6 oz. and was 22 in. long. A big baby, but perfect in every way. Steve got to carry him from the operating room, down the hall to the nursery.
Aiden in the nursery with his first diaper. This was just before Steve and the nurse took him to recovery to be with mommy (Kim).
Mommy, daddy and baby in Kim's room.
Kim had a C-Section so she will be in the hospital probably until Sat. Aiden's glucose was a little low at birth so they had to give him some sugar water and hope to keep him out of NICU. He's so big and healthy otherwise that if he starts eating he will probably be fine.

The Final Move

Marc and Sara bought a new house and they say this is the last time they are moving. Don't think their or dads back can stand another one. I think they are really happy with this one tho'.
This is loading up the old house.
Unloading at the new house.
The new house.
The kids even found new friends the first day.

Mom's Activities

Art Day: she's using colored markers to color a picture. She really enjoyed it.
Pooped out! Time for a snooze.

Say Hello to Aiden

Got to go to Kim's ultrasound appt. on Friday. How fantastic to be able to count toes, watch him try to breath, measure bones and come home with pics. Isn't he beautiful . . . . . .
Aiden is only suppose to be a couple of pounds, but as of yesterday he was 5lbs 3oz. A bigggggg boy -- and only going to get bigger. Kim still has 9 weeks to go, but the Dr. cut it down to eight with the decision to have another c-section: March 17th (St. Patty's day) at 7:15am. Unless, of course, Aiden decides to come earlier.

Christmas '09

Started using Facebook so have been deliquent in getting photos on the blog. Here are a few from Christmas.

On Arn's b-day the 24th. Marc decided to have an arm wrestling contest with grandma. As you can see -- she is winning.
Mom has a goofy grin she likes to give people when she doesn't want to answer them and we were trying to get her to do "the grin" and Marc wanted to imitate it. This is not exactly the grin, but the two still look pretty goofy.
Our pretty princesses with their Christmas dresses.
Cody, Bryson, Jouzie and Rylee.
The whole gang!!! Not bad except for me -- I'm the only one with closed eyes. Oh well.
