The Journey Begins

Day One: Mom arrives
She walked into her new "suite," looked around and didn't recognize her furniture -- her only comment was about how big the room was. I pointed out all the pixs on the walls and her amazement was that I had all the same pixs as she had!!! After trying to find some place to park her suitcase -- I pointed out the furniture and that we would "unpack" her suitcase. She started looking around and realized the furniture was hers and we explained how it all got there. She was mostly in shock and kinda docile that evening. The pix by the entry door is her and dad on their wedding day and next to it is the figurine that was on their cake.
